In honour of All Hallow's Eve, I'm inviting trick-or-treaters to my 'door.' Comment "trick-or-treat" to this post and...well, you know the drill. Treats can be anything that strikes my fancy (pics of fave actors or pairings, one sentence fics, graphics, a few words why I'm glad to have you on my flist, etc. etc.).

The more "houses" to visit the more fun it'll be, so go ahead, open your journal and help spread the fun!

Okay, when we moved into our current flat, the previous tenants had left a DVD behind. We have only just got around to watching it, and it is delicious delicious crack.

It's called It Started With A Kiss and it's a Taiwanese drama about a girl, Xiang Qin, who falls in love with the smartest boy in school. However, he is a dick who doesn't like thick girls. Then her house falls down in an earthquake and they have to move in with her dad's old friend, who is - surprise! - her crush Zhi Shu's dad! Now they have to live together.

It's so good. I need to know how it ends.

I'm moving tomorrow!

We've found a nice new flat not too far from work, which is good. It's cheaper than here too. I won't have internet there for a while, but I do have it on my phone at least. After that it's Comic Con! I seriously can't wait, even though I'm a bit nervous about flying so far as an adult for the first time. American security scares me. I'm going as Chell from Portal 2, even if I don't have the gun or a Companion Cube. Maybe I'll meet a GLaDOS or a Wheatley!

I've never been to San Diego before. Any suggestions for places we should go?

I've just left the Treehouse.

I feel weird about this being the last straw, or whatever, because honestly I've not been part of the fandom in a long time, but I've always kept an eye on it anyway.

I've had a great time, and met some amazing people, but I'm out. If you ever wanna chat though, I'd love to. I still love you guys.

Inspired by Doctor Who's "Turn Left:" Pick one of my stories and tell me a point in the tale that you'd change. Something tiny (e.g. "and then Fay chose silver glitter instead of gold") or big (e.g. "and then Rose was arrested instead of Jack") and I'll tell you how that one difference would have altered the course of the entire story.

Walking home from the pub tonight, and this lady is freaking out on the other side of the road. There's a dude with her, and I thought maybe they were having a drunken argument, but then she fell in the road and hit her head. You could hear the crack where I was. People were coming to help her, and I went over to check she was okay. The guy didn't know her, and he called an ambulance.

She was bleeding pretty badly, but we managed to get her mostly sat down and tried to be comforting, even though she didn't seem like she could hear us. We tried asking her her name and what she'd taken, but she didn't really hear at first. When she started answering, she said she'd taken Ketamine.

It took about twenty minutes for the ambulance to show up, and the paramedics were really nice. She was really scared once she realised they were coming, I suppose because she'll get in trouble for drug use. But she really needed her head seeing to, there was blood everywhere.

I hope she's okay. In a way it was good to see people come together to help someone who needed it, but I feel bad that it was needed at all. At least the hospital will make her better.
